Ice Cream Diet Low Carb

Ok, first, it makes good sense that the Ice Cream Diet advises you to eat lots of veggies, fruits, and good fibers. People get a kick out of the title of this diet, but the crux of it is to eat low calorie foods that are healthy. The diet instructions, or suggestions, contain solid information for what you can safely eat to accomplish your objectives, and they'll help you out with what you can order when you're out eating. One thing that tends to cause disappointment is the ice cream portions are smaller than most people are looking for, but the other healthy food recommendations will set the stage for weight loss. The thing about ice cream is to be able to have a daily treat, or a reward, as you progress with the diet. So it's really incredible because it's all worked out; lose weight and still be able to eat some ice cream every day along the way.

Like all reputable diets, you'll be instructed on the benefits of frequent exercise and its importance to the diet. Of course, for people who just want to eat ice cream while sitting on the couch and watching TV, this may not sound so great! Any diet that makes the claim that you can lose weight without exercise is terribly misinformed or just outright misleading you. When you look at this diet, what you'll see are recommendations to eat well but lower in calorie, regular healthy work-outs Monday through Friday for half an hour apiece, and only then are you encourage to imbibe in smaller portions of ice cream each day. Follow their guidelines, and you can lose weight while eating ice cream. What you can expect is a daily diet that is low cal but consists of veggies, high fiber, fruits, plus the famous ice cream. Ice cream comes in all kinds, and many try to be as healthy as possible. Check out gelato ice cream if you're not familiar, it is Italian ice cream that has a lot less sugar and fat in it. We've seen excellent ice creams in better health food stores that do not contain all the sugar and fats like normal ice cream. This will enable you to make the most of the Ice Cream Diet.

Moderate Drinking and Weight Loss Study
The recent study that showed that women who where moderate drinkers, one or two a day, where less likely to gain weight is giving a false moral. Of course everyone who is looking for a "cure" from obesity are looking at the potential that alcohol can help you lose weight.

WRONG

Anyone that has self control and can stop doing anything that others go overboard on is less likely to gain weight. The reason these women did not gain weight is that they have self control. They have learned the lesson that in order to succeed at most anything in life you must sacrifice short term for long term results. This was the lesson from the marshmallow test on children ( to be discussed in another post ).

Improving your memory

The one thing I could never forget was how bad my memory was

The old Neil was someone who forgot where he left the car keys as well as why he went to the grocery store in the first place. Even worse than that was the names that I was always forgetting. This problem was starting to be a source of embarrassment and was probably losing me business to boot. Even my friends told me " you need help improving your memory ".

Good news can happen fast

When I started searching for information about improving my memory I began to realize that it would not take long to significantly improve my memory. In fact it was really about learning a few memory tips and techniques so that I would remember all those things that I had been forgetting. Some of the tips was merely a change in attitude.

Change your mind and change your life

The most important feature of changing any habit is to first have the right attitude about improving. What is often called "The Law of Attraction", because we attract what we think about, can change out lives. So I changed my negative self talk about how bad my memory and replaced it with a positive thought pattern about my memory getting better every day.

This one factor of better expectations made memorizing peoples names much easier. That is because is most names we forget are actually names that we never where are aware of when we heard them the first time. So by simply becoming aware and using visualization techniques I was able to vastly improve my memory. My visualization technique was to think of the persons name in a funny and entertaining way.
