Remember the morning after

One of the many reasons I like the low carb lifestyle is the clear head I have in the morning when I have been low in carbs ( especially sugar ) the day before. Whereas if I had a sugar laden binge the night before it feels like cobwebs in the brain.

So if you need motivation to abstain from that one bite remember that you will regret it in the morning.

Truth be told if we are keeping the low carb lifestyle carefully cravings should subside after two to three days. If they are not you may want to see if you really are keeping the diet faithfully by reviewing the details for a free copy of the atkins diet plan click on the link.

Protein Power vs Atkins

Recently I purchased "The Protein Power Lifeplan" by Michael R Eades MD and Mary Dan Eades MD because I have been very impressed by his blog posts. In my mind Dr Eades is the smartest doctor advocate of low carb eating. In fact the only problem someone might have with the book I am reading is there is too much information. So if you are looking for a simple explanation of his plan you have to wade through over 200 pages to get there.

So what are the differences between protein power and Atkins?

First Dr Eades does believe that in order to lose weight calories should be reduced. He also stipulates the amount of protein one should eat to be healthy per meal as well as the amounts of ECC ( which seems to be like net carbs ) per meal.

So far I like Protein Power more than Atkins. Especially since their spoksepeople are alive !
